as we know very well .we are use the busbar in busduct
because the current bearing rating of busbar is too much
high in compare to the cable.
we use the 150 x12 mm
150 x10 etc.
so the busbar mechanical strenth is too much strong than
cable. and busduct life is too long in compare to cable.

Normally busducts are used in between secondary side of the
transformer to panel where the distance will be short and
current carrying capacity will be high the busbars used are
generally of greater cross sectional area than the cables,
and also once they are fixed it hardly requires any
maintenance except for tightness in cables you need to do
period check of IR.

Normally we wlli use this BUSDUCTS in LV side of the
transformer BcoZ the Current flowing in the LV side is more
than the HV side.
If we use cable we need Large Sq .mm for which cost is more
than to replace a cable. so, it is used. and another thing
is it has high mechanical strength.

The great advantage of Busduct are compact ( Sandwich type) and easy terminations at trf & panels. When we go for the high rise building with 20 floor, busducts ( one circuit)with floor tapping work out cheaper with less space and reduced distribution boxes. If cables to be laid then 20 circuits to be travelled from Ground floor.
Also busducts are very useful in industrial floor distibutions in a very economical way with more number of tapping.

above 1000 Amps ,busbar is mandatory as per IE rules,as there is no protection between transformer secondary and it breaker, probability of busbar failure is very less compared to cable.

On LT side, we can use insulated bus bars insted of cables.
Advantage is that we can take tap from busbar at many
places. Such bus bars of Schnieder, L&T are available in
market.

Bus Way Good as Compare to cable ,because it has high current rating
and you take supply different location
but it is not good for Medium voltage because it has no high current and also cost is higher then cable
