Calculate the system connected load.(CL)
Rating of Transformer = (CL*U.F.*M.F.)/(Tran.Effi.*p.f.)
Then consider the loading factor as 80%
as U.F. -Utilisation fsctor & M.F.- Maintenance factor

usually transformer rating is based on power to be drawn by
the transformer. however few factor is also play a part
like LF, DF...
For Ex say total Connected load is 820 KW
Maximum Demand would be MD= Total connected Load x L.F (0.8)
xD.F (0.7) = 820 x 0.8 x 0.7 = 459 KW
now considering the load at 0.8 leg PF the kva rating of
the transformer is
KVA required = 459 / 0.8 = 574 Kva say .......600 KVA
