Pressure transmitter is a transducer which convert pressure
energy into electrical signal 4-20mAmp, 0-20mAmp,0-10Vdc or
pneumatic signal 3 to 15 psi. These are the standerd signals
which are used by controller or used for display.

pressure transmitter is having two parts
first primary sensing device which is in contact with
process physical parameter like pressure and this primary
sensing devise sence the process pressure by various
method's like (LVTD,DP CELL,STARIN GAUGE AND ETC)and
convert this mechanical energy to electrical energy which
is also called as transducer and it is given to the
secandary sensing device of tx which is electronic part for
futher conditioning,to get (4-20) by using 24vdc excitation
voltage and secandry part of tx is also known as convertor
and the o/p of tx is given to indicator or controller
further manipulation.
their other std form of signal also as mentioned in above

Transmitter is electronic device, when excited with 24V dc
supply to the transmitter it sense and measure the physical
varible like pressure and send the signal (4-20mA)to controller.
Transmitters are Pr.transmitters,
DP " " " (LEVEL AND FLOW)
Temp " " "

pressure transmitter is electronic device which measuring
pressure and give the feed back to controller bymeans of 4-
20 mA .
Is This Answer Correct ? | 3 Yes | 2 No |
Pressure Transmitter is a device which sense the Pressure (mechanical force) and convert it to electrical signal due to biasing it with 24V dc. And also transmit this signal in Current signals to our contol room.
Only transduction (mechanical to electrical) is not enough to meet a definition of TRANSMITTER.
