While starting the engine the starter takes high current
from battery, while taking high current some gas produce in
battery compartment, if we filled the distill water more
than level where will gas goes out. So that we should
maintain distill water level & gravity.

Battery quality should be of renowned company. Connections
should be proper. Apply vaseline at the terminals. Ensure
tightness of terminals.
Hydrogen gas is produced during charging of battery. Hence
the enclosure should not be closed but should have proper
air ventilation so that the hydrogen gas produced should go
out to atmosphere.
If any spark then blast could occur.
