Under pinning is simply a process of strenthening the
deteriorated foundation of the building without causing any
harm to the building.

If sub soil under the foundation of a heavy structure
becomes week to support the load causing uncontrolled
deflection of the foundation, then a particular type of
material having large expansion property is inserted below
the foundation so that during expansion of the inserted
material total structure is lifted to it's required
position and further deflection is also restricted.
