VOLTAGE- Voltage is a pressure or a force which tends to
move the electrons(electric charge) from one point to
another point. volt/kilovolt is a unit of voltage. Voltage
is equal to energy per unit charge.Voltmeter is a device
which is used to measure voltage.
POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE- In physics, the potential difference
or p.d. between two points is the difference of the points'
scalar potential, equivalent to the line integral of the
field strength between the two points.here are various types
of potential difference related to the amount of energy
required to move an object from one place to another against
various types of forces.

Answer / ahsan haider
voltage: voltage is that entity which causes current to
flow and is between two points but is not the difference of
those two points
potential difference: it is that entity which is the
difference between two points(levels).
both have same units i-e volts and give the same sense in
circuits but there is a slight difference

Potential of a point in space is the amount of work required to be done to move an electron from infinite distance to that point.
Potential difference between 2 points is the difference of the above mentioned figure for the points.
Voltage, as we usually use is nothing but potential difference. But most frequently, it is the rms value of the voltage that we use. In case of AC, it continuously varies. In case of DC, it is still.

VOLTAGE- It is deffind as the product of current &risistent
is known as VOLTAGE. It is SI unit volt.Voltmeter is the
instument used to measer the voltage.
POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE-It is used to measer the voltage b/w
to point of the electric field. It have also SI unit VOLT.

Answer / physicst
voltage and potential difference are same if we consider electric field ONLY.
POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE CAN BE FOUND IN ELECTRIC,MAGNETIC AND GRAVITATIONAL FIELD WHEREAS POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE W.R.T ELECTRIC FIELD IS CALLED VOLTAGE.

Answer / ram
voltage is the measure of potential difference where as electric potential is work to be done to hold the charge at particular position under the cause of electric field between the two plates(positive and negative plates)
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 0 Yes | 1 No |
Answer / ankit
voltage is the effect
and p d is the cause
also p d and hence voltage implies current.
