"What is the difference between voltage and potential
differnce?"
Answer Posted / sukhwinder singh
VOLTAGE- Voltage is a pressure or a force which tends to
move the electrons(electric charge) from one point to
another point. volt/kilovolt is a unit of voltage. Voltage
is equal to energy per unit charge.Voltmeter is a device
which is used to measure voltage.
POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE- In physics, the potential difference
or p.d. between two points is the difference of the points'
scalar potential, equivalent to the line integral of the
field strength between the two points.here are various types
of potential difference related to the amount of energy
required to move an object from one place to another against
various types of forces.
