Basic type and IDOC type are same. In older versions, when
Basic type is extended by adding custom segments, it was
termed as IDoc type. Now, in latest versions, whether Basic
type or Idoc type are similar whether standard or custom.
When the Basic type is extended in new versions, then the
Idoc is called Extension.

IDoc is a combination of msg type and basic type
for exam: MATMAS.MATMAS05
here MSG type is MATMAS
Basic type is MATMAS05
Msg type is nothing but our Message type (we ll create at ESR level)
where as Basic type is nothing but our Data type (we ll create at ESR level)

Idoc and Idoc type are different. IDOC refers to standard
message format (ex: CREMAS),where as Idoc type refers to
Message type (CREMAS03),( Message structure whether it may
be inbound or outbound).
On the other hand there are
1. Standard Idoc's like CREMAS,MATMAS etc.
2. Custom Idoc's like ZIdocs.

1. Basic type : any custom idoc
2. extention type: extention is any standard Idoc.
