As it has 2 inputs & 1 output & o/p is wrt 2-i/ps,now a
block with minimum(sufficient) area producing 1-o/p
corresponding to 2 i/ps must be triangle with o/p at its
vertex .It shows above picture with min area as triange

Answer / ang
the opamp has 2 inputs and only one output, so its like a
device which accepts 2 datas and give one data as output.
the best geometrical figure which can describe it is a
triangle : 2 i/p s at the lower side and o/p node at the
opposite vertex

Answer / josh
because it has 2 i/p terminals having high i/p impedence
which can b showm in for of two terminals ......compared to
its o/p impedence which in ideal case is considered zero
appox.......... so shape covention is triangular

Answer / brajesh kumar sah
Because its having two input and one output , the output are the difference of the two input that why its make triangular shape.

The shape of op-amp symbol is triangular because it shows the arrow, and this arrow is indicating the power transfer from input of an op-amp to the output.
Is This Answer Correct ? | 0 Yes | 0 No |
Answer / anushareddy
Because to transfer the power from input terminal to output

the direction of flow of current is shown in a particular
direction. and it is obviously a diferential amplifier
having two inputs and a output
Is This Answer Correct ? | 2 Yes | 4 No |
Answer / harshita
because the triangular shape is like an arrow which shows
direction of current flow from input to output
