What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / m nanda kishore

the grid is also referred as infinite bus bar in terms of
synchronisation but it also implies fixed voltage, fixed
frequency,phase seuence,phase voltages

Is This Answer Correct ?    110 Yes 23 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / motilal sahu

INFINITE BUS BAR IS CONDUCTIVE WIRE IN WHICH INFINITE
ALTERNATOR IS CONNECTED TO MAINTAIN fixed voltage, fixed
frequency,phase seuence,phase voltages

Is This Answer Correct ?    81 Yes 18 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / pankaj

infinite bus bars means the whose parameters like voltage,
frquency, phase sequense remains constant even after change
in parameters in the local ckts.

Is This Answer Correct ?    52 Yes 8 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / deepak kumar

An infinite bus bar is a parallely connected network of
ALTERNATORS, whose frequency and voltage remains
constantregardless of power drawn or supplied from it.

Is This Answer Correct ?    35 Yes 4 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / sagar alias jacky

infinite bus bar has constant frequency and voltage......

Is This Answer Correct ?    28 Yes 3 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / pankaj kumar verma

Infinite busbar is a whose parameters like voltage,
frequency and phase sequence remain constanat even change
in the connected load to the infinite busbar.

Is This Answer Correct ?    21 Yes 6 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / satish

INFINITE BUS BAR is a very large conductive circuit in which
infinite Alternators are connected to maintain fixed
voltage, fixed frequency, phase sequence and phase voltages.

Is This Answer Correct ?    13 Yes 1 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / sujan kumar

an improvement to the above answers

an infinite bus bar may be treated like a m/c with large
amount of inertia, so that the frequency will not change.
and the voltage and frequency remains unchanged regardless
of the equipment connected to it.

Is This Answer Correct ?    13 Yes 3 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / swarn

Infinite bus bar is the source where n numbers of
generators are loaded thereby impedance of the system
becomes so high that connecting or disconnecting any load
does not impact on voltage, frequency of the system.
The Voltage , Frequency of Infinite Busbars always remains
constant. This is what is called as Grid also

Is This Answer Correct ?    15 Yes 5 No

What is an infinite bus bar?..

Answer / anil kumar verma

Infinite bus bar is the node in a power sustem where
many generators can be connected without affecting the
voltage & frequency of the system.

Is This Answer Correct ?    18 Yes 11 No

Hi Suppose we have a wye/wye transformer which is grounded at both sides,in this situation, do we have ay ground transformer? in other words, ground transformer can do any thing more (while we have nuetral wire in both sides)? As the last question, what about 3rd harmonic? we have two choices: first using wye/delta transformer + ground transformer and second using wye/wye earthed connection.in the former choice, we dont have 3rd harmoonic at the secondary side but what about Yn/yn conection? do we suffer from 3rd harmonic in the Yn/yn connection?
