Answer number 1 is o.k. but to add to that in D-TYPE MCBs,
instantaneous tripping occurs only for currents greater
than 10 x times the rated value of MCB.

I think the first ans is wrong, D curve only refers to
the shape of back side of MCB , by which it is mounted on
the mounting strip
