There are two types of earthing.they are:
1. Body Earthing
2. Neutral Earthing
Body Earthing: This earthing is used to protect the panels
from short-circuit and if there is current
flow in the panels.That is why body earthing is
necessary.
Neutral Earthing: This earthing is used to make the Neutral
earthed and this is mainly used for Transfor-
mers at star connected side for neutral point.

protecctive device provide protection against inderect
contect and overcurrent)or functional(correct operation of
electrical equipment or to permit reliable functioning of
electrical installation. & 2)equipotential bonding:to
minimize the risk associated with the occurence of voltage
differance between exposed conductive parts of electrical
equipment and extranous conductive parts.
