Hi,
We facing one similar problem in our computers i.e we are
newly constructed our design department after that shifted
our computers but our computer desktop screen is vibrating.
we are conducted our electrical maintainance person he told
that is UPS problem, then we changed the UPS also again we
are facing that problem in that room only. then we put lcd
monitors that problem is solved. But in other monitors why
the computer desktop screen is vibrating please give a
suggestion to me.

The vibration problem in the monitor occur due to much
magnetic noise present in nearer area of the monitor ie
like welding work.
2ndly u say U not faced this problem in LCD monitor.
magnetic noise not effect the LCD monitor function due
to its working principle is based on LIGHT CRYSTAL DIODE,
While the other monitor working at the CRO principle.

It may due to tha Harmonic present in the UPS. So you
better go for the Power Quality Auditing.

We are also faced the same problem.I checked the UPS power
socket in side neutral and erathing wire.That time i found
that was inter changed the wire, now moniter are working
fine.

Yes definitely its Magnetic effect. I think u have any
multimedia speaker around the monitor or any other active
magnetic field is present there.
Its solution is, Never put any Speaker or any Magnetic field
beside monitor.If any body face this problem at first try to
do this.I think u will get the solution.
N.B: LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)is fully free from this
magnetic effect.

i suggest you to once change your screen resolution & check
it. the screen may even vibrates if the selected resolution
is incorrect.

becoz CRT work in Electro magnetic principal and it will
be vibrate due to magnetic noise but LCD is work in Electro
Static Principal and it is not effected by magnetc noise SO
LCD screen not vibrate due to MAgnetic Noise.

dear actually the CRT does not working properly due internal
disturbances occurs inside the CRT such such as the fly back
transformer,electrons gun are weak or poor working
performances.so,i suggest you THAT replace LCD in place of
CRT.Because first your problem will solve 2ndly power saving.
