Voltage is the potential difference between two Conductors,
for Single Phase and the fro three phase system it is the
potential Difference between three phases and the neutral
for Example in india WE have 240 Volts A C Voltage for
single phase and 415 V for 3 Phase,
Forula to determine Power, Voltage and Currents
1 Phase : P = V X I = { Power(in watts)= Voltage X Current}
3 Phase P = rootof3 X V X I cos Phi,
Power = 1.732 X Voltage X current X Power Fator

THE RATED CURRENT OUTPUT WILLBE 434AMP AND THE EARTH
CONTINUITY CONDUCTOR SHOULD BE HALF OF THE LARGEST CURRENT
CARRYING CONDUCTOR.
IF THERE IS CU CONDUCTOR OF SIZE 400SQ. MM IS USED THEN
EARTH CONDUCTOR SHOULD BE 200 SQ. MM OF DIMENSION 40X6 CU
STRIP CAN WORK EFFECTIVELY.

what is the voltage level ?
kva =1.732*v*i
i=kva/1.732*v
we get current value then find out current carring bus size

Neutral will come in to picture whenever u start ur DG (
and not paralleing with a Grid as it will create a
circulating current), so worst thing that can happen is L.G
fault on a phase of generator or inside the winding , so
max current that can go is dg rating/ phase volatge ( use
formula above) so ur neutral should be capable of that
much curent ,( neglecting any contact resistance in ideal
case)
the switching of neutral is done through contactor.
use this to size strip
the I = K* A/ sqrt of time ( some of IS standered give u k
for bare conductor) Dg manufacturer will size support for
S.C forces
get k for alumi. or copper u can size to next standered
sizes available 20 x 6, 40 x5 n all

Answer / dg
Current should be 348Amp. As DG of 250KVA not 250Kw. So PF wont be used to calulate current.
