What is the use of core in the transformer?..

Answer / atul

It gives path to flux to be linked with primary and
secondary both.

What is the use of core in the transformer?..

Answer / saeid

Role of core in a transformer is to make the best way for
magnetic flux with the lowest magetic resistence. So the
mathrial used for manetic core has to have low manetic
resistance, foe esxample, it can not be from wood or
plastic even copper. In fact, the role of core in
transformer(or electrical machines) is like the role of
wire9 electrical codutor that has very low resistence)in
eletrical cicuits.

Use to carry the magnetic flux from the primary winding to
secondary winding

Is This Answer Correct ?    33 Yes 13 No

What is the use of core in the transformer?..

Answer / naresh

Core in a transformer provides low reluctance path to
magnetic flux which links both primary and secondary.

Is This Answer Correct ?    25 Yes 5 No

What is the use of core in the transformer?..

Answer / dolnarayan patel

It provides low resistance path to the magnetic flux.from
primary to secondary or vise-varsa.

What is the use of core in the transformer?..

Answer / rahul tyagi

core is used to link the primary and secondary winding the low reluctance path is provided by reducing the air gap.the main purpose of core to provide the linkage between two windings

Is This Answer Correct ?    13 Yes 3 No

What is the use of core in the transformer?..

Answer / viki

core is used to communicate primary and secondary of
transformer,it is made up of laminated silicon steel, core
is a low reluctance,thats why using.by using core,we can
reduce losses between primary and secondary of transformer.

Is This Answer Correct ?    5 Yes 0 No

What is the use of core in the transformer?..

Answer / kailash thakur

Core is the low loss link between the primary and secondary
circuits of a transformer, where electrical energy from
primary is converted to magnetic energy in the core and
again back to electrical energy in the secondary.
