User Exits: If u want to add new functionality and without
affecting previous functionality then u can use User Exits.
User Exit types are :
1) Field Exit.
2) Screen Exit.
3) Menu Exit.
4) Function module Exit.

application is nothing but user exits.
we have projects dependent and project independet exits are
there.
project dependents are function exit,field exit,menu exit
project independent are screen exits
