Development server is where the consultants do the
customization as per the company's requirements.

Quality Server - Where the Core Team persons test the
configuration
Production Server - Where users will do their routine tasks.

Landscape is nothing but, it is a combination of Sandbox,
development server, quality&assurence server and
production/golden client server.
In development server the implimentation will be done, what
ever the business enarios we have implimented in sandbox.
