Moveorder Transfer : In thier you need to Approve.
& also you will get move order no, from there you can query
whenever you want. From that you can also move material
based on that move order no.You can trace material
transfered based on move order no.
Sub-inventory Transfer : Simply a transfer from one
location to another. No records is generated during
transfer. You can't trace material transfered

For Sub inventory there is no ‘Approval’ is required
In Move order Transfer we can transfer Material in steps
that we can’t in Sub inventory Transfer.

correct, sub inventory transfers are unregulated. where as
a move order requires and approval depending on the set up
that we provide during inventory organization set up.
However, there is an option that if a prticular move order
request is not approved within a specific limit, then it
should be approved automatically.

sub inventory transfer:
->we can transfer material between sub inventories
->we can't cancell the SI transfer
->we can't track the transaction
move order transfer:
->we can cancell move order
->we can track the M O
->we can set approval process

Subinventory Transfer:
1. Does'nt Require Approval.
2. Suggested to use SI, when authorization of the
Subinventories is same.
3. Can not be Automated.
Move Order Transfer:
1. It is a request transfer.
2. MO can be automated. Eg. MO (FGI to Stagging) gets
generated when you perform Pick release in OM.
3 Requires Approval.
4. MO is suggested to use when authorization of
subinventories are different.

The only difference between a Subinventory Transfer and a
Mover Order is the Authozization Required to move the items
from one location to another.
So to transact a move order, it has to be authorised.

in Mo transactions we should follow three steps
1. approve the transaction
2. allocate the quanity
and
3. transact the quanity
but subinventory transaction doesn't have these steps

Sub inventory transfer material shift one location to
another location in inventory but there have not occurred
any accounting event during sub-inventory transfer, Also
there haven't any approval.
But during move order there need approval & reduced or
increase inventory valuation also accounting event occurred.
