A neutral & earth wire is a safety protective that normally
carries no current, where as The neutral is a return wire,
it carries current back to power station under normal
circumstances.

both r somehow relatedd 2 zero potential,but d diff is,-
neutral conn is done within ckt,connected 2 ckt components,
whereas earthing is completely related 2 user safty in case
due 2 contact betn ckt n metal casing,the casing(wh is nt
supposed 2 b at higher potential)has voltage.
a ckt can definately work w/o a neutral,but not w/o a gnd
