Defect and Bug both are same as per the test environment we
usually called it as Defect for dev people they called it as
Bug

But the mismatch B/W expected result and the actual result is
called as Defet
The error in the code which is caused a defect in the test
environment it is called as defect

Can anyone let me know that what would be done by the tester if bug status changes to DUPLICATE,means what kind of action or process should be done by tester?
