BRS(Business Requirement Specification) is prepared in
Requirement Gathering phase by Business Analyst who are
also known as ISM(Information Service Management).
SRS(System Requirement Specification) & FRS(Functional
Requirement Specification) both are the same and are
separated by Project Manager from the BRS Document. It is
done in Requirement Analysis phase.

analyst. It will tell the intend, benefits and risks, if
any, of the software being built.

contains requirements which are given by customer and
prepared by the business anyalyst very clearly and
understandable format. actually it is in highlevel
information format when ever sending to the test engineer
it is converted into lowlevel information using snopshots
and this is useful to understand by test engineers
