It is the area in the Bex analyzer, into which we drag the
characteristic which we want to restrict. Drag a char in to
the filter area, right click on that and choose restrict.

The area which we can restrict the characteristic values
and generate report and one more thing the field which we
drag in to the filter area is not available in bex(We can't
see the Character field in BEX)
