ROLAP (Relational Online Analytical Processing) and MOLAP (Multidimensional Online Analytical Processing) are two types of data analysis technologies. ROLAP works directly with relational databases, while MOLAP stores data in a multidimensional cube structure for faster analysis. ROLAP offers more flexibility regarding data granularity, but MOLAP provides better performance for large datasets.
