The Transaction Manager in SAP HANA manages database transactions by coordinating multiple database operations into a single unit of work. It ensures that each operation either completely succeeds or is rolled back if any part of it fails, thereby maintaining data consistency. A Session is a logical connection between the application and the Database, within which all database operations are executed. Each session has an associated Transaction Manager.
