Answer / shailza
general occuring faults in motor are:
1. inst. overcurrent
I(1)the current is equal to 8.5 times the nominal current
rectification-isolate breaker, take megger and check motor
T.B
2. Earth Fault I(0)
rectification-take megger
3. Stalling I1(t)
rectification- take no load trial with decoupling of motor
4. Thermal overload Ith
rectification- check current balance
5.phase imbalance I(2) Check motor T.B and take megger.

1. Over load tripping - Reset OL relay.
2. Ball bearing failure - To be identify by heavy noice and
offton tripping & Over heat - Change bearing.
3.Monthly once clean the body of the motor. cooling will be
better.
4. Winding problem. - Check by megger of multi meter.
Rewinding to be done.
5. Over load relay itself problem some times.

over load trip
to control the ratings
under maintenance problem that means lubrications, cleaning
in this minimise to proper maintenance
remove the light damage parts in this cause to totally
motor damazed
it' minimise to replace the parts
over temperature
it's minimise to fix the fans to rotor
