first of all i told u ...in construction never use fit in steel and other ...
only use all dimension in mm..
so ur qus...
1'=304mm
12*304=3648

spacing of ring given in drwaing ..an idial use of ring spacing 100 c/c
so....3648/100=36.48=37 ring
