Define Insulation resistance
There is an application of direct current (DC) and not alternating current (AC) and this is the first thing while doing the Insulation resistance test.

Insulation resistance tests are made to determine insulation resistance from individual windings to ground or between individual windings. Insulation resistance tests are commonly measured directly in megohms or may be calculated from measurements of applied voltage and leakage current.

When we give supply to a transformer 11 kv and we get 415v from it, so when we give supply to same transformer 415v on ht side what we get? and When we gives supply to any transformer to L.T. side 415v or 220v What supply is on H.T. side?
