Sir, my yokugava FF TYPE LEVEL transmitter us bad, i don't have spares available, i want to replace it with a Rosemount FF transmitter, please tell me what procedure to be followed and what changes to be done in dcs part.

If the device calibration range is alike, and all required instrument data are match, we can use. We need to change instrument details like model#, serial#, make etc. in DCS engineering station. Upload, and down load data to communicate it online. And proceed to check as LEVEL both side in field as well as in DCS panel.

i have level transmitter -400 to 0 range for steam drum application but i am unable to calibrate if installation of lt below lower tap what will be the effect ? and as per std wht is location of lt ,above lower tapping or below
