The company where I am working, their is rosemount 5400 series radar type level transmitter, it is meant to show level of filled tank, but along with the level it is showing temperature also, so my question is how a onon-contact type radar type level transmitter can show temperature even if it does not have any contact with the fluid?
1841If a normal magnetic type flow transmitter that can measure flow, temperature and show this parameters on field, is it possible by any means to get this (flow and temperature) parameters info. On dcs? And if yes then with HART, FO communication or any other communication system?
1 1848If a flow transmitter (magnetic type FT) that can measure flow and temperature, then why in some industries people use flow transmitter and temperature transmitter in the same line 1 after another? Even after 1 single flow FT is capable of measuring flow as well as temperature.
1 3972I have installed a RTD whose length is 2250mm(RTD stem length), but it's upper 200 -250mm is out of the reactor, and this upper 200mm stem is surrounded by atmospheric temp. And the lower portion i.e. 2000mm is in contact with the measuring fluid, then does the final measuring temp. Gonna change as the upper 200mm RTD stem is out of reactor?

2631Why does a pressure gauge installed on reactor, doesn't have any vent line below to release the pressure? Is it any kind of designing mistake or it actually does not require any vent line? And if it does not require any vent line below it then how we are gonna release the pressure built inside the pressure gauge?
1718Is it ok, to use non-contact type Radar type LT, on a tank that is half circular from the bottom side? If yes the, isn't the waves gonna bent in other directions?
1716Why is the length of cable layyed from RTD to temp. Transmitter should be minimum? Why does heating effect takes place in their?
1 5438Why do we use triad cable for RTD to Temp.transmitter connection? Why we don't use 3 core cable?
1 13782What are continuances of connecting earthing and shield of branch cables (instrument to Junction box), at the same earthing pot provided on JB? Is it ok, or may produce some problem?
