A Personal connection is created by one user and cannot be used by other users. The connection details are stored in PDAC.LSI file.

Personal:This connection is only used for personal practice purpose, this is not secured connection.
Shared:When you wish to distribute the complete universe via shared server for multiple users in that situation we are using this kind of connection(ex:training to multiple people )
secured:When you wish to distribute the complete universe via repository to the enduser,so in this case the data is secured.In real time we are always used Secured connection only
