the total iron closs in a transformer core at normal flux density was measured at 25hz and 5ohz and was found to be 250w and 800w respectively.the hysteresis loss at 50hz would be................?????
Answer / utkarsh agarwal
according to the data flux density is constant.
Pe1=f1^2 Ph1=f1
Pe2=f2^2 Ph2=f2
takinf f1=25hz
f2=50 hz
Pe1/Pe2=1/4
Ph1/Ph2=1/2
now iron loss Pi=Ph1+Pe1
Therefoe
1. ph1 + pe1=250
2. 2ph1+ 4pe1=800
solving we get ph2= 200w
P.S. : "=" is meant to be proportiaonality sign in first 3 lines
