ECC stands for "Enterprise Core Component"
it is the main component of SAP ERP
it is SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planing)
and it is the main component of sap it has the basic functionalities of SD, MM, HR,PP etc.
R/3 is an architecture of SAP Systems
it is also called 3-Tier architecture
it consists of three layers
1. Presentation Layer
2. Application Layer
3. Database Layer
