Dummy Customer is nothing but ordering sales organisation which play the role of customer for supplying company code/sales org.

in the intercompany sales process there are two company codes as well 2 sales areas are involved. when actual customer gives order to company code A and material is not available so A company code will raise order to B company code. so for B company code A will be a customer. Thats why we create a dummy customer( A company code and sales area) when order is delivered to actual customer B company code raise invoice against A company code so dummy customer is used here.

My client want to generate one idocs for every change in material pertains to sales org 1710 and distribution channel 10 only..I have created one distribution model at bd64 and also added filteration functionality for sales org 1710 and dist channel 10.....Now I am able to generate one master I docs if I use other sales areas also..such as Sales org 1010 and dist channel 10...which should not be generate...Please suggest me where the settings need to be done to avoid generating idoc other than sales org 1710 and dist channel 10...

Hi Friends, I have over 9 years of experience in IT industry. Worked as developer on IBM mainrames for most part of my career (6+ years) so far. Currently working in a global IT company. Couple of years back I got an opportunity in my current company to change my technology from IBM mainfarmes to SAP SD. I got trained internally and I have been put on a project of a global client for support for almost 2 years now. I learnt lot of things and got very good hands on experience. Now my questions is,How important/critical is the industry/domain experience(in my case, sales domian experience) if I want to pursue opportunities in other companies. I do not have any sales domain experience but I do have over 2 years of real time experience on SAP SD module. What will be the chances of getting jobs in the market for my kind of profiles?
