if one potential missing in energy meter , how much % slow
the energy meter?

if one potential missing in energy meter , how much % slow the energy meter?..

Answer / raul

If the potential coil is missing then the meter reading
will not advance i.e. the meter reading will stop
incrementing as the rotation of the energy meter disc is
dependent upon the interaction of fluxes created by the
shunt and series magnet with each other's induced current.
And when the flux created by the potential coil is absent
then the deflecting torque would be zero and hence the
rotating disc will not rotate.
