pressure switch is like an electronic switch,when crosses
set point the switch will changes to NO to NC or vice versa
so out put is DI,
pressure transmitter monitoring the pressure it send the
analog signal to DCS

Pressure switch output is interms of NO or NC.
Electronic pressure transmitter output is in 4-20 mA or VDC

The output of pressure switch is the contact changeover, i.e. from NO (normaly open) to NC (normally close) or vice versa, when the pressure setpoint is crossed in either way.
Whereas the output of Pressure transmitter is 4 to 20 mA or 1 to 5V as the case may be with the type of transmitter you are using.

suppose, after calibrating a transmitter we fixed it in a process line. At live zero condition the Tx shows 4.5 mA. what should we do to make the Tx show 4 mA? If we adjust zero, will it not affect the calibration?
