pressure switch is like an electronic switch,when crosses
set point the switch will changes to NO to NC or vice versa
so out put is DI,

pressure transmitter monitoring the pressure it send the
analog signal to DCS

The output of pressure switch is the contact changeover, i.e. from NO (normaly open) to NC (normally close) or vice versa, when the pressure setpoint is crossed in either way.
Whereas the output of Pressure transmitter is 4 to 20 mA or 1 to 5V as the case may be with the type of transmitter you are using.

in any transimitter (flow/level) there are three terminals for supply& test (+,-,+)in two wire,24VDC given to Tx.,but how 4-20 ma signal travels thru same wire (as it is for 24VDC input supply)?
