It is done by the rebound hammer test.
A cube of size 150mmX150mmX150mm is kept in the machine and a gradual load of 140kn/cm2/minute is applied on it till it fails.
Then the reading on the machine is divided by the area of cube to get the actual compressive strength.
For example area of the cube is 150mm X 150mm = 22500mm2
and the reading from the machine is 751000 n/mm.
Then the compressive strength of the cube will be 751000/22500 = 33.37 N/mm.

we put the cube in compressive testing machine then apply
load in kn unit then we note downthe reading just srating cracks

putcube in compressive testing machine, give pressure 140
kg/sqcm/minute.
strength= load/area
if you want to know the solid cube density. take weight of
cube.
forumala;
density=mass/volume=weight of cube/volume of cube
(0.15*0.15*0.15)
ans gives you density of solid concrete.
if you want wet concrete density then take cylinder 10
liter weight of empty cylinder then fill with concrete
weight of concret/volume of cylinder its gives density of
wet concrete.
