The relay measures rate of drop in frequency ,which is due sudden increase in load or decrease in generating capacity . When df/dt exceeds the set value ,the relay closes the trip circuit.

i have a Connected Load of 280KW and Maximum Demand of 224KW to one of SMDB under design with me. which criteria should i consider to design panel and main cables connected Load or Maximum Demand 1)Breaker rating 2)Panel Busbar rating 2)Incommer cable sizing (ignore Voltage drop)
