Ups is untruppted power supply means Power is continuous
come from this ups if your main power suppy is on or off.
And then inverter is working after power supply is
gone.then invertor is on .

Inverter is a part of UPS. in inverter DC supply is fed
through Battery and Battery is continuously charged through
Rectifier circuit from AC supply. in cace of AC supply is
available, inverter gets DC from Rectifier circuit and when
AC fails, it takes from battery.
