Function Specs is a document which a functional consultant prepares to be given to Abaper. This Document contains details like Tables & fields name, Table joints, Logic for development, along with test case in sand box / test server to verify the development.

The Configurations and Customizations done by FICO Consultants is Functional Specifications. That is the reason we are called as Functional consultants as we do not require coding to be done. ABAP Consultants do coding and they are called as Technical Consultants.
