because at the start current is very high due to less
resistance of the rotor and there is no any contact between
stator and rotor and it genrat very high torque hence
require very high current.

ther is any difference if we use 240 V A.C,50 Hz,1 Ph. in place of 230 V A.C,50 Hz,1 Ph.

We use MCCB not MCB for motor starters because MCCBs has capablity to drawout the motor starting current which is 5-6 times the full load current of motor for 1sec. Then why we use SDF in starter panel means MCC panels. Pls reply if any one knows this answer.
