kva is the actual power delivered from transformers and
generators.kw is the active power consumed by loads.KVA IS

kva= root 3*v*i
so the differnce between kw and kva is pf.

kVA means kilovoltampear. It is a power of transformer
having zeero power factor whereas kw is stands for kilowatt
and it a power of load having power factor whether legging
or leading.
