Volume of 32mm rod/m = (3.14/4)*32*32*1 = 804.57 mmsq
Mass/Volume = Density, Density of steel 7850 Kg/cum
There fore Mass = (804.57/1000*1000)*7850 =6.315 Kg.
Formula
Weight of rod/m = D*D/162 Where D = Dia of Bar in mm
Weight of 32mm Rod /m = 32*32/162 =6.3209 Kg.
