Reconciliation account is the link between General Ledger
and sub ledgers. we can't use reconciliation A/c to post a
document directly.

Recon accournts are Gl accounts that receive the data from
subledger accounts.It means transaction data are not
directly posted to recon account.Examples of recon are
AR,AP,Fixed Asset GL.For AR GL the subledger is Customer
account.All the transactions with customer are posted
directly to Customer account and Recon account is
automatically updated.When u create the customer account you
have to specify the Recon account under company code data.

If sub ledger and main ledger are interconnected and entries are posted automatically then why do we do month end reconciliation between subledger to main ledger. example customer to sundry debtor....

Hi, If we have 10 company cocodes, in which we created 9 operative chart of accounts for 9 company codes and for last company code we created contry chart of accounts and we assign all company codes to one group company... can we get the reports for 10 company codes ?
