there is not any specific reasons for cracks: there are
variety of cracks that can occur in any structure (shear
cracks, flexural cracks)etc.....for these different cracks
there is different mechanism involved..for remedial solution
the reason behind the crack has to be found....

There are series of crack in the structure of a building, but mostly it come the from the foundation due to settlement or improper mixing ratio of concrete, or if concrete contain too much impurities.

In Rcc structure ,mainly cracks devloped .This is due to not
proper cover maintained.
Cover block should be fixed in between reinforcement and bar.
