why r u using hplc grade solvents

Answer / aaa
HPLC grade does not mean the solvent is 100%. It means that
the solvent is free of spectroscopically interfering
impurities. Ex. absence of UV absorbing impurities.

Sorry, but HPLC grade first mean that it is millipore
filtered, that means it does not contain any larger
particles that will make the drug clog or block the column
used for the analysis.
But it doesnt mean that they wont interfere in the UV
absorbance, since every organic solvent has its cutoff wave
length which will be given in Pharmacopoeias and refernce
books like merck index etc....

HPLC gade solvents are high purity(99.9%)and these solvents are filtered through 0.2µm for chromatography. It means does not have large particles that will make avoid the blockage of the columns, over pressure and free of impurities and the solvent is free of spectroscopically interfering
impurities.

HPLC is the vry sensitive instrument so it required highly pure solvent without any impurities & hplc grade means 100% pure solvent.

Hello Dear all; I have a technical question related to analytical Chemistry, I have a sample of (40% w/w) Ferric Chloride solution (for water treatment purposes which consist a little portions of Ferrous Chloride and Hydrochloric acid. I need to know the methods to determine the percentages of each Ferrous Chloride and Chloride acid. Also I want to make sure that this solution is truly (40% w/w). So ANY CLUE !!! Thanks in advance.
