difference between slippring induction motor and Generator?
The Main Difference between Slipring Induction Motor and
Generator is Field Winding(Which is excited by DC source
while Brushless / direct linked in field stationary
condition in Genrator case).
Second thing , Generator speed likely remains constant and
voltage stability is achieved by field excitation and in
SRIM case speed variation ie rquired as per load by GRR,
LRS, SPRS connected to its Rotor through Sliprings.
