LT means low tension(low voltage) refers to 230v & 440v
which we get just after at secondry of tranfomer placed in
colony(city's)
HT means high tension(high voltage) refers to 11kv & 33kv
which is secondry of city's substation and primary of
colony's placed transformer.
after HT then EHT , UEHT

LT is less than 1000 volts, MV Is more than 1000 v upto
66kv,HT is more than 66kv to 132kv , EHV is from 132kv upto
220kv after that more than 220kv is UHV.

My Point of view the
LT Voltage ranges are -- 230volt , 433volt.(less than 433volt)
Medium Voltage(MV) ranges are -- 3.3kV,6.6kV
High Voltage(HT) ranges are -- 11kV,33kV

High Tension voltages are normally not used in home
applications and are in the range of 400V, 11 KV, 33KV,
132KV, 4oo KV etc.
LT means Low Tension and house hold appliances work on this
voltage of 110V or 230 v.
