As per my knowledge ion pair reagent is used in reverse
phase chromatoghaphy where the analyte is eluting out very
early (i.e for unretained peaks) just to retain peak we use
ion pair reagent.

we calibrate HPLC once in 6 months while iam doing calibration i came to know that calibration was failed. then how can i justify that the samples analyzed on the system during this 6 months was wright? how can i forward in to the next step for those batches?
stability study is going on up to 3years for famotidine-USP but the pharmacopeia is revised and tlc test is replaced with hplc test. At the 4th year frequency the product is failed in hplc test .how can i assain the expiry or retest date and can i stop or continue the programme?
