protocols with which instruments are communicating each
other. A protocol is a set of rules that governs
communications within a network, defining everything from
how connections are made between devices to how the message
itself is formatted. They can be implemented through

In practical issue , main differents are: Lenghth of
segments , capability for using in hazerdous areas ,
communication speeds , number of devices can be connected
to them and also kind of industry they are going to be
used .

why in vortex flow transmitter dcs range is configuring less than sensor range. eg (sensor range 500-25000 kg/hr and dcs range 0-24000 kg/hr).
