Modbus,Profibus and Fieldbus are industrial standrad
protocols with which instruments are communicating each
other. A protocol is a set of rules that governs
communications within a network, defining everything from
how connections are made between devices to how the message
itself is formatted. They can be implemented through
software, hardware, or both.
