Verification :is nothing but static testing.
i.e we can check whether the s/w meet the customer
specification r not.
this is done by dev team
EX.reviews,inspection.

Validation: is nothing but dynamical testing
i.e we can check whether the s/w meet the customer req r
not.
This is done with the involvement of client
ex.Block box testing

I attended an interview for Testing as a fresher, I said I already had project training, they asked me if I found anything difficult while testing or preparing test cases, one other question was if I am given the same test cases again the next day will it be a waste of time. Really I dont know what answers they expect please help.

For Change Password functionality-- Test Case is -- > Change Password Test Steps/Descriptions: 1) Enter Old Password 2) Enter New Password 3) Enter Confirm Password 4) Click on Save button Expected -- > User should login successfully. My question is --> After 4th step tester will check/verify that user [whose password has been changed] is login successfully or not. Should I have to write that steps which user will fallow to verify user login in above test case? What are the preconditions for above test case?
